Sunday mornings are an exciting time for children at TCLP! Whether participating in bible classes or attending the always-fun Kids Own Worship, preschool and grade-school children will be shown the love of Jesus each Sunday morning. We look forward to seeing you this week!
Each Sunday, we offer classes for children ages birth through Kindergarten. They will be cared for in a loving, nurturing environment with dedicated, screened teachers with hearts for sharing Jesus with your little ones. Children attend Sunday School during the 9:00 service, and Extended Care during the 10:30 service. Stop by the information desk downstairs to check in to your child’s class.
Every Sunday during Extended Care time, Pre-K and Kindergarteners attend Wee Worship. Wee Worship is a multimedia-based curriculum that provides a fun and simple way to reach preschoolers with the transformational truth of God's Word. Through creatively taught Bible stories on DVD and active learning activities, preschoolers can begin to realize that church is fun and God's love for them is real!
Small group Bible studies are one of the most important things we do each week as a church. LP Kid’s age-graded Sunday School classes are designed to help children grow in their relationship with Christ and with others. Sunday School meets from 9:00am-10:15am. Stop by the information desk downstairs to check in to your child’s class.
Kids Own Worship - 252 Kids
During the 10:30 service our kids meet for Kids Own Worship. What does 252 represent? It’s not our street address or the number of questions a 2nd-grader can ask in 20 minutes. Instead, everything we teach in 252 Kids is based on one of the three basic, but powerful, truths modeled by Jesus in Luke 2:52.
I need to make the wise choice.
I can trust God no matter what.
I should treat others the way I want to be treated.
252 Kids is designed to provoke discovery and invite kids into a new understanding of how to grow in relationship with Jesus. It focuses on 150 Key Bible stories, 4 Faith Skills and 30 Life Apps.
