4th Annual Pinewood Derby January 26, 2008

When: January 26^th, Saturday

Where: Liberty Park Baptist Church

What Time:

Awards:

Ø      1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd speed by rank

Ø      1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd speed overall

Ø      1^st, 2^nd, 3^rd best design by rank

Ø      Most Patriotic by rank

Ø      Ribbons for participants

What Else:

Ø      Wear your Class A uniform.

Ø      Name your car.

Ø      Each car will race 4 times (once in each lane) against other cars in the same rank.  Winners will be determined by the fastest combined time for all 4 runs.

Ø      Rules and tips are on the Pack 776 website

Ø      Pit crews will be available to help

Ø      Coffee, juice, and donuts

Ø      Pack 776 speed record: 169.9 mph (Austin Brooks, 2007)

Ø      If you cannot attend Derby Day, have someone enter your car for you.

When: January 25^th, Friday

Where: Liberty Park Baptist Church

What Time: 6pm-8pm

What Else:

Ø      Track will be open to run your car and make final adjustments

Ø      Pit crews will be available to help

Ø      Car can be certified

Ø      Turn in your car if you are not able to attend Saturday’s race

Ø      Pizza and coke for the family (RSVP on Pack 776 website by January 21^st)
