Recreation/ActivitiesTeam SportsOur adult and youth members participate in various team sport leagues. All talent levels are welcome and church membership is not a requirement. LPBC teams try to be competitive but the primary goal is to have fun. Please join us! SoftballOur adult men and women play in spring and fall church leagues. Games are played at the Liberty Park Sports Complex, located approximately 1 mile from the Church. All ages over 19 are welcome. BasketballOur men play in a church league from December-February. Youth boys’ teams are divided into junior high and high school ages. For further information, please contact the following person:
Seasonal Activities
Patriotic Celebration Day in late June or early JulyEach year, LPBC invites the neighborhood to join our members in a day-long celebration of the blessing of freedom and the privilege of living in the United States of America. We have carnival games and horseback rides for the children. Barbecue, ice cream, and other delicious foods are served. LPBC’s
Fall Festival has become a neighborhood tradition, with carnival games, hay rides,
costumes, and cake walks for the children and the young at heart. Families from all over
Birmingham have made this a yearly event.
