Memory Verse for the Week
As Pastor Randy preaches through Philippians, we want to encourage you to meditate on the message by memorizing one of the verses that he shares. Our memory verse for this week is Philippians 1:6.
"For me to live is Christ and to die is gain."
Philippians 1:6

Calling All Graduates

If you are a graduate this year, we want to celebrate you. To do this, we will need your help. Please send Student Pastor, Clint Barthel a brief video of yourself sharing the following three things:
  • Your Name
  • Where you're graduating from
  • What you plan to do next
(Example: Hi, my name is _______________. I'm graduating from _______________ and plan to attend ________________ this fall.)
You can email the videos to Clint at clint.barthel@libertypark.org or text them to him at 256-345-6787. All videos must be submitted to Clint by Sunday, May 10.

Mother's Day Video - We Need You!

Mother's Day is just around the corner and we want to try a fun experiment. We want to put together videos of mothers and their children singing a song together for our Sunday worship video and we want your family to take part! Here’s how it would work:

  1. Set up a phone in landscape video mode in front of your family to record.

  2. Through another audio source, play this video with the music and lyrics softly underneath your family (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5Y8s-Sz_ac)

  3. Record your family singing together through the whole song.

  4. Then use Dropbox to send us your video https://www.dropbox.com/request/rYOZSpmazXn2he89oiLp. Dropbox is a simple, free file sharing website. The folder we’re having you put it in is private, and only we can access our material. We promise we won’t sell or use this stuff for anything else.

  5. Then watch our service on Mother’s Day to see our families sing together!

While we show the videos of your families, our worship leaders will be singing and playing along as well, so this won’t be like a solo for you and your kids. No need to be shy.

Please take part. If we don’t have enough families participate we’ll have to scrap the project, so we need you! Even if only a few members of your family want to do it, we’d love to have them.

Please contact Jake Adler or Ben Stephenson if you have any questions!
