Children's Choirs

Music and children go together. They always have and always will. Music with children adds a dimension that allows them to experience worship, as well as, share their talents and be creative. At Liberty Park Baptist Church, we are committed to offering excellence in children's music. The children's choir ministry is an age-graded ministry for preschoolers age 3 through 5th grade. Our children's choir directors are highly qualified and creative people who love children.

For 3 year olds, we have a Preschool Music Activity where the child's first experience in music is actively pursued. For 4 and 5 year olds, we offer Preschool Musicians which gives them a more structured program of music. Music Makers is for children in 1st through 3rd grades. Foundational music concepts are taught at this age. They will also have the opportunity to learn handbells, play rhythm instruments and use the Orff instruments for special events. The older children's choir, which involves children in 4th and 5th grades, is our "Sonlight" Praise and Drama Team, which gives older children an opportunity to learn music which relates to our contemporary world. At the same time, these children will continue their education in the foundational concepts of music, play handbells and Orff instruments. We will also consistently apply drama to music.

Once a year, the children's choir ministry, as a whole, will present a full-length musical and concert of praise. We invite your child to be a part of this vital ministry of Liberty Park Baptist Church! There is a place for every child!
