Mother & Son Outing, April 19

The Children's Ministry is sponsoring a Mother/Son Outing on Sunday, April 19 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Cornerstone Ranch in Gardendale, Alabama.  At the ranch, moms and sons will enjoy the beauty of natural surroundings and participate in activities like canoeing and ziplining.  We will gather and leave from the church immediately after the 11:00am worship service and eat lunch at the ranch.  We will return to the church around 5:00pm.  Registration is open for all boys in grades K-5.  The cost is $20 per couple (son & mom/guest) and $5 for each additional son/guest.  You may drop your payment off at the church or pay on the afternoon of the event.  Sign up online here.

2015 Deacon Family Ministry Assignments

The assignments are complete.  Each member family of the church has a deacon.  The purpose of the deacons is to serve the congregation and support the ministries of the church.  Do you know who your deacon is?

Save your Stuff!

As Spring begins to arrive and we begin to go through our annual cleaning rituals, please don’t get rid of those things just yet.  The youth will have their second annual Youth Fundraiser Yard Sale on Saturday, May 2.  We need your stuff.  Last year the sale was a great success and raised more money than we ever have in any fundraiser.  So when you get the itch to clean-out, don’t scratch it just yet.  Save it for us to sell and raise money for our summer activities. NOTE:  We'll begin collecting items for the sale after Easter!
