Join Us this Sunday, June 28, for Our Annual Patriotic Sunday Celebration and Churchwide Lunch

This Sunday, during the Bible Study hour beginning at 9:40am, everyone is invited to the sanctuary to hear church member, Joe Compton speak.  As the founder of MEN of God and Country, Joe will  examine our nation’s past, present and future and speak about the roles and responsibilities that men have been given by God to fulfill in the church, community and the nation.  This is a timely topic that will be of interest to all men and women.  After the 11:00am worship service, everyone is invited to stay for our annual churchwide fellowship lunch.  Ben and Susie Chambliss will be cooking a delicious meal of barbecue pork and chicken, coleslaw, baked beans and dessert.  Reservations are NOT required; feel free to bring a guest!

Mission Trip to Guatemala, July 25 - August 1

About twelve (12) people have committed to go so that means there's still room for you! This is the perfect mission trip opportunity for a family - especially families with middle and high school aged kids.  We're headed back to San Andreas, Guatemala and folks are needed to do construction work, serve on a medical team and play with and teach the children there.  San Andreas is a beautiful place - a little warm - but the accommodations are nice. And the food?  Well, just ask the folks who've been there before about the food.  No one comes back hungry! So now you're asking, "What does it take to go?"  It takes a desire to serve.

Please pray about your participation and what you need to start doing to make it happen. Or maybe there's someone you'd like to sponsor! The cost is $1800 per person. Contact David Lucas with questions or to tell him to hold a spot for you! 969-1236 or 222-3949 cell.
